The Arthur Robertson, in Perry Barr, Birmingham, has scooped two awards.
Despite being open for less than a year, The Arthur Robertson has been voted ‘best suburban pub’ in the 2010 Birmingham Best Bar None awards.
The outlet was voted top of 14 shortlisted pubs in that category, in the scheme run in partnership among Birmingham City Council, West Midlands Fire Service and West Midlands Police.
The pub was also named ‘Employer of the Year 2010’ for disability employment, via a local initiative called Forward 4 Work, also run by Birmingham City Council, to help less-able people into the work place.
