Mexborough Opening

A former market hall, in Mexborough (South Yorkshire) reopens on Friday 9 January as The Old Market Hall pub, following a £1.6-million redevelopment project.
Thirty-five new jobs are being created at the pub which will be managed by Nick Patching.
The building housing the new-look pub was officially opened in July 1880.
The Old Market Hall features a bar on the upper-ground level, as well as an external terrace area, where smoking is permitted.
