The Cherry Tree, in Huddersfield, raised £300 in a grand raffle to help a local school.

Monies from the prize draw, in aid of nearby Beech Early Years Infant & Junior School, in Golcar, will help to provide rugby league coaching and training kit for the school.

Prizes in the draw, supported by Huddersfield Giants in the Community project, included a signed rugby shirt and Huddersfield Giants merchandise, designer watches and meals at the pub.
