The Knights Templar, in Chancery Lane, was the obvious choice of venue for a recent book launch.
Publishers, writers and journalists joined authors Lynn Picknett and Clive Prince, both pictured at the central London pub, for the launch of their new book – The Forbidden Universe.
The pair first noticed the pub from the top deck of a bus, during the filming of the film The Da Vinci Code, starring Tom Hanks. In fact, it was the Hollywood actor who pointed the pub out.
They had been given cameo roles in the film, as an acknowledgement that their 1997 non-fiction book The Templar Revelation inspired Dan Brown’s novel.
The Forbidden Universe uncovers a story which has been suppressed for centuries: that an ancient magical tradition holds the key to the true origins of science.
