The Robert the Bruce, in Dumfries, has won an award for its floral displays.
The Scottish pub was voted ‘best licensed premises’ in the Dumfries in Bloom Competition 2010.
The pub, which was awarded third place in the licensed-premises category last year, scooped the top prize in this year’s competition.
The Dumfries in Bloom scheme organises and maintains floral displays on commercial premises in the town. The initiative is run by volunteers from Dumfries Civic Pride and supported by Dumfries and Galloway Council, as well as the Dumfries and Galloway Standard newspaper.
