The King of Wessex, in Bath, is a favourite watering hole for rugby supporters in the Somerset city.
Pub manager Robin Smith welcomes followers of the Aviva Premiership team Bath, who enjoy pre- and post-match-day gatherings at the outlet.
Somerset cider-producer Thatchers has presented the pub with a framed Bath rugby shirt, which now hangs proudly above the bar.
The Sandford-based company is the main sponsor of Bath Rugby Club.
Robin, pictured centre with Mike Harnetty and Jennie Jefferies from Thatchers, said: “We have a great relationship with the Bath supporters, as well as our friends at Thatchers, and thank them for their gift.”
Robin will be joining forces again with Thatchers, in the coming months, to raffle a signed Bath rugby shirt, in aid of CLIC Sargent.
