Paul Ferguson, manager of The Blue Bell Inn, in Scunthorpe, is pictured with members of 4 Kicks, winners of the 28th annual Scunthorpe Rock Open.
Wetherspoon is one of the sponsors of the competition, believed to be the longest-running ‘battle of the bands’ in Britain.
Bands from across Lincolnshire and Yorkshire entered the competition, with six bands competing in the final at the town’s Plowright Theatre.
Wetherspoon’s manager, Paul Ferguson, was one of the judges who, along with his fellow judges, chose 4 Kicks as the winner.
The members received £1,000 cash prize and a day’s recording session.
Paul said: “It was great for me and The Blue Bell Inn to be involved in the Scunthorpe Rock Open and a pleasure to have the band members (with their trophy) in the pub.”
Lead singer and guitarist Christos Spiteri said: “We would like to thank Wetherspoon for its support.
“If we ever make the big time, we promise Wetherspoon’s chairman Tim Martin a full road show!”
