During a ten-day festival, all nineteen Wetherspoon pubs in Devon showcased a wide range of beers brewed in the region.
The Devon Real-Ale Festival featured 19 beers, including Dragon’s Breath (Dartmoor Brewery), Handsome (The Forge Brewery), Mr Sheppard’s Crook (Exe Valley Brewery), Sutton Comfort (South Hams Brewery) and Whistle Belly Vengeance (Summerskills Brewery).
In addition, three beers were brewed exclusively for the pubs. They were Black Jack (Hunter’s Brewery), Devonshire 10 ‘Der’ (Country Life Brewery) and Double Barrels (Hunter’s Brewery).
The beer festival’s organiser, Jye Dixey (duty manager at The Imperial, Exeter), said: “We are fortunate to have so many wonderful breweries in Devon and we were delighted to show our support for them with the festival.
“Customers loved the opportunity to enjoy a real taste of Devon and support their regional breweries too.”
