Dark night sheds light on ale

Regulars at The Flying Boat enjoyed their first meet-the-brewer evening at the Dartford pub.
Representatives from West Sussex brewery Dark Star Brewing Company showcased six ales for sampling at the event.
Among the ales on offer were American Pale Ale, a light-coloured IPA (4.7% ABV), Hophead, a pale golden ale (3.8% ABV), and Imperial Stout (10.5% ABV), a strong, dark stout which proved very popular with customers.
