The Flying Boat, in Dartford, has been recognised in a local council-run initiative and presented with a Safer Socialising Award.
The pub is one of just seven venues, in the Kent town, to successfully reach the standard required for accreditation. The Safer Socialising Award is a nationwide scheme developed by the Association of Business Crime Partnerships.
Pictured receiving the certificate from Dartford Borough Council’s leader Jeremy Kite (second right) are duty manager Ben Winslade and new pub manager Natasha Keerie.
Cllr. Jeremy Kite said: “An essential part of Dartford’s regeneration will be the introduction of new shoppers and visitors to our town. The work being celebrated with these awards makes a huge contribution to that.”
