Customers at The Cotton Bale were spoilt for choice during a three-day cider festival, at the pub in Hyde.
Pub manager Darren Foskett (pictured, centre) and his team served 21 real ciders, including the full range from Herefordshire-based Westons and the Welsh Cider Company, as well as Somerset’s Broadoak Perry.
A marquee, loaned by Brian Pugh (right), scout leader at the local 4th Hyde Scouts, together with tables and chairs, was set up for a barbecue in the pub’s garden.
Local butcher Paul Butler (left) of PJ Butler’s, in Hyde, produced specially made pork & scrumpy sausages for the festival.
The festival raised a total of £400 for CLIC Sargent.
