A fundraising day at Devonshire House, in Crouch End, provided entertainment for the youngsters, as well as much-needed funds for two children’s charities.

Sue Irwin-Hunt, from Blink pop-up shops and art installations, is pictured in the pub window, where she performed for passers-by.

Children’s entertainer Captain Fantastic provided a disco, Punch and Judy show and puppetry – and there was also face-painting for the youngsters.

Fuller’s Brewery, in Chiswick, showcased six ales: ESB, HSB, Seafarers Ale, 1845, London Porter and Chiswick Bitter, as well as providing a brewery tour as one of the raffle prizes.

There was Champagne, canapés and a mojito cocktail-making session, as well as a live band with local musicians providing jazz fusion music for the evening’s entertainment.

The proceeds were split equally between CLIC Sargent and local charity Action for Kids, each receiving £305 from the event.
