The Surrey Docks has received a certificate, in recognition of the pub’s inclusion in the Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA) Good Beer Guide 2014.

Members of South East London CAMRA (SELCAM) presented pub manager Amy McHale with a certificate to mark the achievement.

The Surrey Docks is one of three local pubs in Southwark to be included in the new guide.

Neil Pettigrew, SELCAM’s pub preservation officer said: “A pub can be the natural heart of the community, dispensing more than just beer, but true hospitality and friendship, as well as great food and entertainment.”
