Two pubs in Nuneaton joined forces to raise £300 for charity, at the town’s carnival.
Staff and their families from The William White and The Felix Holt entered two floats in the annual event.
The ‘Stars in their Eyes’ pop stars (pictured), together with a DJ and music, raised £150 for the local air ambulance service, while a team of ‘nuns and nurses’ raised £150 for children’s cancer charity CLIC Sargent.
The William White also raised £380 for CLIC Sargent, in a ‘let’s get funny for money’ fancy-dress event at the pub, where male staff were ‘auctioned’ and waxed for charity.
