Real-ale-lovers at The Robert Peel can enjoy an exclusive new beer at the pub in Bury.
Local brewers Brightside Brewery have produced a new blonde beer (4.2% ABV) which is now on sale permanently at the pub.
The beer, called ‘Bobby Dazzler’ was named after suggestions by regular customers at The Robert Peel.
Oldham, Rochdale & Bury CAMRA member Phil Brown was one of two customers that came up with that name. Rob Burgess, duty manager at The Robert Peel, said: “Brightside is a great local brewery. Its beers are very popular with our customers. We asked Brightside to produce a house ale for us – and ‘Bobby Dazzler’ is the result.”
The Robert Peel serves eight real ales at all times, including six ever-changing guest ales. Among those on offer from Brightside are Solstice golden ale, Darkside stout, Maverick IPA and a malty bitter – The Beast!
