Brewers support best-of-Scottish event

Customers at The Sandpiper enjoyed a meet-the-brewer event at the Glasgow airport pub.
Pub manager Donna Walker hosted representatives from Harviestoun Brewery, as part of a Best-of-Scottish annual initiative, staged at the airport.
The pub, located before security, serves Harviestoun’s 4.2% ABV blond beer Bitter & Twisted at all times; however, customers were able to sample several ales from the Alva-based brewery.
Donna said: “Bitter & Twisted is a very popular award-winning ale at The Sandpiper – and we hope to add Harviestoun’s Schiehallion soon too.”
Bar associate Graham Laurie added to the Scottish-themed afternoon by playing some traditional tunes on his accordion.
