The Moon and Bell was recognised for its floral displays in the Loughborough in Bloom 2011 contest.
The pub, in the Leicestershire town, finished second in the ‘best pub award’ category in the annual competition.
The contest, run by Charnwood Borough Council, rewards pubs, retail businesses, guest houses, allotments, schools and private gardens for the quality of their blooms and gardens.
Dan Hoyle, pub manager at The Moon & Bell, said: “We were delighted to finish runner-up in the best pub category, perhaps we can go one step further next year.”
