Youngsters at The Broken Bridge, in Pontefract, enjoyed the opportunity to see a selection of animals at close range.
The pub hosted the Morley Exotic Animal Rescue Trust, whose volunteers brought a snake, skunk, owl, spider and meerkat to show off to the children.
A collection and tombola on the day raised £164 for the sanctuary and its ‘adopt an animal’ scheme.
