Wetherspoon pubs have played a significant role in the life of newly weds John and Lisa Ladly.
John and Lisa (pictured) met through a group of friends, eight years ago, at their local. They were introduced by John’s best man at The Eva Hart, in Chadwell Heath.
The couple tied the knot in a wedding ceremony at The Knights Templar, in Chancery Lane, in November. The wedding party travelled from Chadwell Heath to London, and back, in a Routemaster ‘wedding day special’ bus.
John said: “We had an absolutely fantastic day – a wonderful time and were all thoroughly impressed by The Knights Templar.
“Jan and Gerry, at the pub, organised everything superbly: the ceremony, the party, DJ and catering for 150 family and friends.I don’t know how they can do it for the money!”
