Wetherspoon enthusiast Jeremy Clitherow decided to export the company’s real-ale ‘gospel’, during a recent trip to India. Jeremy, a consultant pharmacist from Liverpool and a regular at The Childwall Fiveways Hotel, in the city, borrowed a Wetherspoon ale festival T-shirt, from pub manager Nathan McGovern, in his quest to spread the word. Jeremy said: "Wetherspoon fame is spreading! "When I took some photographs with the T-shirt, on the coast of India in December, the temperature was a warm 34 degrees Celsius - and my actions were a great source of mirth and discussion among the locals."
