Shift manager Robin Draper (right) and Robinsons Brewery brand manager John Robinson show off their rock music group inspired beer at The Paramount, Manchester.
The pub is serving ‘Build a Rocket Boys’ ale, a collaboration between the Stockport-based brewery and Manchester alternative rock band Elbow.
The beer, a golden ale (4 per cent ABV), was launched during the beer festival and is now a regular guest ale at the pub.
Elbow, who describe themselves as “proud supporters of traditional British real ale” named the beer after their fifth studio album.
Robinsons introduced the beer to customers at The Paramount as part of a meet-the-brewer event.
Customers were also able to sample a selection of Robinsons ales including Old Tom, Old Stockport, Unicorn and Dizzy Blonde.
Robin said: “The Elbow beer was a big hit with our real ale enthusiasts, as was the meet the brewer night.
“It was a great way to launch the beer festival at The Paramount and showcase a great brew with local connections.”
