Bar associate Ahmet Faruk Vural, pictured, has recently celebrated a year at The Drum, in Leyton, east London.
Ahmet, 26, who has cerebral palsy, works part-time at the pub.
He began his time at the pub working in the kitchen, but now enjoys his role serving drinks and food to customers, front of house.
The Drum’s pub manager, Alex Baines, said: “Ahmet is a valued member of our team and is very popular with the customers.
“He manages his condition well enough to ensure that it doesn’t hinder his work in any way.
“It is clear to me and my colleagues that Ahmet enjoys working here.”
Ahmet was featured in Disability Now magazine in its ‘work life’ section.
He told the magazine: “I love working here; the other members of staff are great and my plan is to work my way up to become a manager.”
