Kitchen manager Jillian Alexander (left), who works at City and County, in Goole, her daughter Katie Appleyard (right) and granddaughter baby Izzy Mae have shown their appreciation to Eckersley House, to the tune of £1,100.
Izzy Mae was born with health complications and was cared for at Leeds General Infirmary. Mum Katie was able to stay at Eckersley House, a home-from-home facility, during Izzy Mae’s treatment.
Shift manager Karen Alsop (second right) organised a month-long fundraiser at the pub, with various events to raise the cash.
Jane McHale, Eckersley House’s home manager, pictured holding the now-healthy Izzy Mae, collected the cheque.
Jillian said: “Eckersley House provided amazing support for Katie and our family. In turn, the whole team at City and County have shown incredible support for us all. This is our way of thanking them.”
