The Trent Bridge Inn, in Nottingham, provided the venue for a very special 40th birthday party.
The Nottingham Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA) celebrated its milestone with cake and a specially brewed beer from Nottingham Brewery.
Three committee members, Ray Kirby, Ru Murdoch and Alan Ward, went to Nottingham Brewery to help to brew the special 4.0% ABV ruby mild ale, called Ruby Ruby Ruby, for the occasion.

Paul Draper, Wetherspoon area manager for Nottingham, said: “The new brew gave all branch members the opportunity to lift a pint to 40 years of Nottingham CAMRA, in at least 40 pubs across Nottingham, in one weekend.”
