A festival winner

Two customers from The Isaac Merritt, in Paignton, were the lucky winners of a competition held during the Devon ale festival.
Steve Trubridge and Ian King, pictured left to right, with Hunter’s head brewer, Paul Walker, won the contest – run in conjunction with the Devon-based brewery.
Customers were asked to come up with a name for a new, exclusive Hunter’s ale – Steve and Ian both opted for Double Barrel.
The pair also had input into the badge design for the pump clip and enjoyed a trip to the microbrewery, at Ipplepen, to see the new beer in production, as part of their prize.
