Scantastic result – first timer Oscar scoops £9,000

Talk about beginner’s luck - university student Oscar Archer had plenty to celebrate when he won a £9,000 prize, equivalent to a year’s student fees, after entering his name into a Wetherspoon’s student competition.
Run in conjunction with Bacardi Brown-Forman Brands and Carlsberg UK students were offered a range of discounts at Wetherspoon pubs, as part of its Unlocked App campaign.
