About this Hotel
This Wetherspoon hotel is the former Wyndham Hotel, originally the Wyndham Arms of 1792. It provides stylish, modern town-centre accommodation, with all of the towns amenities close by. We have 25 individual bedrooms. All of our rooms are ensuite and include tea and coffee making facilities, a hair dryer and TV.
Directions
Driving from the M4 junction 36, follow signs to Bridgend town centre on the A4061. Follow the A4061 to a roundabout. Turn left on to the A473 and take the next left into the Embassy Car Park. Walk across the bridge, turn right and the pub is in front of you.
Car Parking
The pub is approx 100 meters from the car park. Please note, that the Embassy Car Park, is an attended car park (8am-6pm). Rates can be found advertised at the pay point, and payment will be needed in advance.
Alternative car parks are Riverside (200 metres away) just before the Tesco entrance, and the multi-storey car park (3 minutes walk away) found just off Queen’s Street.
Local Transport
If arriving by train, Bridgend station is a 5 minute walk from the hotel.
Local Attractions
Famous for its Bridgend Designer Outlet, Glamorgan Heritage Coast and two nearby beaches (Ogmore and Porthcawl), the hotel offers easy access to Cardiff (23 miles) via road or rail and makes a great choice for those visiting Cardiff for sporting events or concerts. So for business or pleasure, Bridgend proves a popular choice.
