About this hotel

This Wetherspoon hotel is located in Henley’s oldest street, in the historic heart of the town. We have 30 individual bedrooms, many with original beams. All of our rooms are en suite and include tea- and coffee-making facilities, a hair dryer and TV. FREE Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel.

Very limited on-site parking is available – please phone reception to book a space for a fee before arrival. Alternatively, pay-and-display parking is available within a short walk. Your nearest car park is on Greys Road. Print a map, showing all nearby car parks.

We are adjacent to a Wetherspoon pub and Lloyds No.1 bar, with loud music on a Friday and Saturday night until 2am. Although it is audible in the bedrooms, we do have quiet rooms in the hotel, subject to availability; please telephone reception to request one.

Approximately 10 minutes’ walk to Henley-on-Thames railway station.

Founded in the 12th century, the town is best known for its annual Henley Regatta, although there are many more reasons to visit this beautiful town. The surrounding Chiltern Countryside and Thames Valley also provide plenty to explore, as do nearby Oxford and Reading.



During The Royal Regatta from 2016, all hotel reservations require a 50% non-refundable deposit upon booking. There will be no cancellation charge if a booking is cancelled before 12:00 noon GMT, 2 days before your date of arrival. If the booking is cancelled later, or in the case on a no-show, the first night will be charged.

The town centre is also home to a Literary Festival ( and a weekly Farmers’ Market, every Thursday (, at which local farmers showcase and sell their award-winning produce.

You can find the country’s oldest theatre within a very short distance of the hotel (Kenton Theatre The nearby River and Rowing Museum (, Legoland ( and Windsor Castle  provide entertainment for all.

On the other hand, the local boat cruises (Thames Boat Cruise, wineries and breweries will provide sophisticated entertainment for all (Chiltern Valley winery and brewery
