Directions
From the M6 take junction 27 - Wigan. At junction 27, take the A5209 exit to Wigan/Parbold. At the roundabout, take the 1st exit onto Crow Orchard Road/A5209, Turn left onto Shevington Lane/A5209, continue to follow A5209. Turn right onto High Street/A49, continue to follow A49, go through 1 roundabout. At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto Spencer Road/B5376 and continue to follow B5376. At the next roundabout turn right onto Mesnes Road. The Brocket Arms as approx 600 Metres on the right hand side. From M61: Leave the motorway at junction 6 and follow the signs for Haigh Hall. At the mini roundabout, near The Boars Head pub, turn left onto Wigan Road. At the next mini roundabout (near the Cherry Gardens pub), turn right.
Car Parking
On-site parking is available (you will need to collect a permit from reception). Alternatively, the nearest pay-and-display parking is on Bridgeman Terrace (5-minute walk, opposite Wigan Park). *Please note there will be limited car parking due to refurbishment taking place.
Local Transport
The local bus station is a 10-minute walk from the hotel. Wigan Northwest and Wigan Wallgate train station are a 15-minute walk from the hotel, with links to Liverpool, London and Manchester.

Wigan is located at the heart of the northwest, giving you easy access to Manchester, Liverpool, Chester, Blackpool and The Lake District. This makes our hotel an ideal location for business travellers and tourists alike. Wigan itself has an eclectic mix of shops an boasts a vibrant nightlife, with a wide variety of restaurants and also Wigan Little Theatre as well as a great selection of pubs and clubs. We also have both a Premiership football team Wigan Athletic, and Super League team The Wigan Warriors, the stadium is within walking distance of the hotel.
The hotel is also near to many of the towns attractions including Haigh Hall Country Park which hosts events throughout the year and has its own golf course. We are also close to Haydock race course making us an idea place to say for a day at the races.
