About this hotel
Ideally located right in the centre of the vibrant city of Birmingham, The Briar Rose welcomes business and tourist visitors alike.
We have 40 individual bedrooms, many with high, vaulted ceilings. All of our rooms are en suite and include tea- and coffee-making facilities, a hair dryer and TV.

In the area
Birmingham is one of the top shopping destinations in England and includes the stunning Bullring shopping centre, all major high-street chains and an eclectic mix of shops to suit all tastes. The hotel is also well situated for enjoying Birmingham’s varied nightlife areas, such as Aracadian, Brindley Place, Broad Street, China Town and The Mailbox.
The hotel is just a short stroll from New Street Station. Visitors to the National Exhibition Centre (NEC) can take advantage of the direct train link.

Please be aware that the bar section of the hotel will be closed from Monday 11th January for refurbishment and will re-open on Saturday 23rd January, the hotel will remain open.

• Tea, coffee and a wide range of refreshments are available at an extra charge.
• Buffets are available for delegates – please call the manager to discuss requirements. Alternatively, you can dine in The Briar Rose and select from our all-day menu.

Directions
Approaching from the M6, follow the A38(M) to central Birmingham. Turn left, after the first flyover exit, signposted Jewellery Quarter. At St Chad’s Circus roundabout, take the first exit up to the Colmore Circus roundabout. Take the third exit on this roundabout, signposted Colmore Row. Turn left down Temple Street, immediately after St Philip’s Cathedral, taking the second right into Temple Row (a narrow one-way street, with speed bumps). Follow the road down the hill around the right-hand bend onto Bennetts Hill. The Briar Rose is approximately 100 metres up on the right-hand side.
Car Parking
Free on-street parking is available 6pm–8am. Alternatively, pay-and-display parking is available in several nearby car parks. Your nearest car park is on Livery Street.
