test

The world’s top brands of lager deserve to be sold correctly chilled – they are brewed to taste better that way.

Our draught lagers served at 1–3°C, thanks to our special super-chill system.

  • testCarlsberg

    3.8% ABV
Probably the best lager in the world. First made in Denmark by JC Jacobsen – in 1847.

  • testKronenbourg 1664

    5.0% ABV
A clean and crisp lager, with a distinct citrus hop taste – it is France’s No.1 selling beer.

  • testTuborg

    4.6% ABV
No.1 in Denmark. Tuborg is no newcomer: it is a 136-year-old quality lager from Denmark, brewed in a German Pilsener style – a light and easy-drinking lager.

  • testFosters

    4.0% ABV
The amber nectar. A refreshingly smooth, light beer, first brewed in 1886 in Melbourne; so, go on – get some Australian in you.

  • testStella Artois

    5.1% ABV
A great quality and a full, characteristic flavour. Why the chalice glass? Well, it keeps the beer cooler for 23% longer.

  • testGuinness

    4.1% ABV
Smooth and creamy, with a substantial body, its roasted barley gives its characteristically dark colour and bitter, roasted flavour.

Bottled beers and lagers

Enjoy bottled beers from around the globe – several of which are exclusive to Wetherspoon.

Classic bottle beers such as Leffe sit side by side with new arrivals such as Lucky beer, brewed in China, loved in Australia and starting a craze of tummy-tickling in the UK!

  • testBecks

    5.0% ABV
Still made from the original 1873 recipe. That’s no surprise, as the recipe started winning awards in the USA in 1876.

  • testLeffe

    6.6% ABV
A Belgian classic – with its brewery tradition dating from 1240, Leffe is rich in every meaning of the word: flavour, colour, taste, ritual and history.

  • testEfes

    5.0% ABV
No.1 in Turkey. This is an elegant, full-bodied lager, rich in foam. By the way, that great Stein bottle shape is exclusive to Wetherspoon in the UK.

  • testBudweiser

    5.0% ABV
The great American lager – brewed since 1876 (see above: 1876 must have been a great year for lager!).

  • testLucky

    4.8% ABV
A great Asian lager, brewed by Aussie ace Richard Adamson. Join the belly-rubbing craze – grab the bottle and you instantly grab the laughing Buddha’s belly. The saying goes that you rub the Buddha’s tummy to ensure plentiful good times along the path of life.

  • testSan Miguel

    5.0% ABV
No.1 in Spain; since it’s Spanish, it is not a ‘quick beer’. Like the best things in life, it’s something which needs to be savoured. Tomorrow can wait until tomorrow.

Ciders and Perry

Wetherspoon led the way during the recent resurgence in cider and perry, by introducing international ciders, such as Kopparberg from Sweden, alongside traditional English and Irish favourites.

Our latest offering is Westons Marcle Hill – a draught traditional still cider.

  • testKopparberg

4.5% ABV – Elderflower & Lime; Pear; Winter Fruits
Sweden’s favourite cider and Wetherspoon’s favourite cider too! A clean and refreshing range of ciders, developed from an original old Swedish recipe.

  • testWestons Organic

    6.5% ABV
Made from organically grown cider apples, producing a refreshing, well-balanced taste, with a ripe apple aroma.

  • testMarcle Hill Cider

    5.0% ABV - EXCLUSIVE
Draught traditional still cider, made in Herefordshire: medium-dry, with a smooth, mellow finish. A cider inspired by 125 years of Westons tradition.

  • testMagners

    4.5% ABV – Apple; Pear
Crafted from a unique blend of 17 varieties of apple, sourced from orchards in County Tipperary. Magners cider is patiently vat-matured to deliver a crisp and refreshing taste. As for the pear cider – well, the only fruit which that contains is – pear.

  • testWestons Perry

    7.4% ABV
A superior-quality, lightly sparkling perry (made with pears), crafted to deliver a fresh, medium-dry, fruity flavour.

  • testStrongbow

    4.5% ABV
This is a full-bodied cider, with a clean, refreshing taste.

Alcoholic Ginger Beer

This is just a selection of our menu – download the PDF to view the full menu.

  • testFrank’s alcoholic ginger beer

    4.5% ABV
Exclusive to Wetherspoon and brewed especially for us by our friends at Kopparberg, Frank is actually the chap who founded Kopparberg in 1802.

  • testCrabbie’s alcoholic ginger beer

    4.0% ABV
Four secret ingredients, but we’re guessing that one is ginger! Why the elephant trademark? Well, that’s down to the Scots traders (Crabbie’s having been founded in Scotland in 1801) who transported ginger across India.
