Since it began in 2002, the partnership between CLIC Sargent and Wetherspoon has gone from strength to strength. And it’s all thanks to the enthusiasm, dedication and commitment of our customers, employees and local communities.
Thursday 1st December 2011 was a record-breaking day in our partnership calendar, as we celebrated reaching our £5 million fundraising target. This is a huge achievement... but we can’t stop there. Every day ten families in the UK hear that their child has cancer. Treatment can start straightaway and last for up to three years.
Because our ongoing support is vital, we aim to make this partnership even bigger and better. We’re aiming to raise £1 million a year for the next 5 years!
