  • We carry out our business honestly, ethically and with respect for the rights and interests of all of those involved.
  • We work with all suppliers to maintain long-term and mutually beneficial relationships, to ensure that our own activities and those of our suppliers are socially and environmentally responsible.
  • We promote and communicate a responsible sourcing policy, setting out the expectations which we have of our suppliers.
  • We believe that we are making continuous progress with our suppliers, to ensure that best efforts are made to balance the needs of the consumer with those of the producer.
  • One of our biggest achievements is understanding that we have a responsibility, ethically, for not only our contribution to corporate social responsibility, but also that of those with whom we work. It is a massive task, but one from which we will not shy away.
  • For the seventh consecutive year, we have been included in the FTSE4Good Index, designed to identify those companies with good records in corporate social responsibility

The backbone of our growth has been the provision of the highest standards in all of our outlets, since we opened our very first pub in 1979, but we also understand that our role in society doesn’t begin and end simply by serving quality food and drink.
